  5.    This subdirectory contains bootstrap files for the DECstation/ULTRIX.
  6. The MIPS compiler seemed to have trouble with function prototyping and
  7. var_args, so they were turned off.  Because of turning off var_args, I
  8. can't be sure that all error messages will work correctly. If they do not,
  9. please let me know.  In any event, I do have a DECstation available, so I
  10. should be able to emulate any problems people may run into.

  12.    To bootstrap, use the installation script install.fweb.  Try the ansi
  13. bootstrap first.  If that doesn't work, then select the dsu option.
